MC-18, recongized as a standard magnetic compass, comply with the requirements of IMO solution A,392, A,694(17), ISO standard and IEC 60945. Also, MCT-180 compass bowl can be used in connection with Azimuth reading device, Binnacle and Transmission system and it is equipped with a reflect tube in order to be able to read an Azimuth device in the wheelhouse location.

3) OPTIONS
– TMC UNIT (TM-42) : This is an equipment that sent a heading value calculated by 7-segment through SF-30 which mounted on magnetic compass and the NMEA sentences with the format set by the user.
– UDR (UDR-180) : This is an equipment that transfer a heading value which is pointed in Magnetic compass or in Gyro compass, to receive in the form of NMEA 0183 through RS-422, and then display in the front of the Text through Dot matrix Alphanumeric Display.
– Standard Azimuth Device (AZ-180) : This is an equipment that aimed at specific targets and seeing exactly. Because Azimuth device is made of nonmagnetic as a whole, it does not affect to the gimbal of the compass bowl. Thus, compass bowl card can be easily rotate and read up to level 5 and also 3 degrees to 30 degrees. The sight of AZ-180 is more than five degrees in the horizontal plane above both line of sight.
Altitude range (by Azimuth device using an observations mirror) is at least 5 degrees down to 30 degrees up against the horizon.
